Hey everyone.

Most of us all know our local Dog Groomer Sandy. The one who has been serving the small dog community of Worth for almost 40 years. She has been known around Worth and several other communities servicing even our Village police with there small dog grooming needs and all of us not only considered her a Licensed Grooming professional, but also a friend. Sandy took the extra time to meet you at your car with a smile and an unbeatable price to save most of her clients money and our seniors a trip of even having to get out of the car.

I have watched her independently run her business for 7 years on her own and knowing she has been here for 40 years is something I admire, we all should.

Unfortunately I am heartbroken to see our Sandy’s independence taken from her and our small dog community due to Stage 4 Lung cancer.

She has been forced into early retirement and stripped of her passion because of a mass on her Lung.

She is just a few short years from retirement and still has to keep a roof over her head, and can no longer work.

She doesn’t have much family other than the family she has created in our Friendly village. She also doesn’t want to leave her home in Worth so nurses and medical supplies are needed for a woman who only lives with her amazing dog Luna who is her biggest support and still gives her the strength to keep going, you will still see her out there walking that amazing old girl (Luna the dog)

So now it’s our turn to help her and just give back to a woman who has always given to others.

Any amount will help. But please take the time to donate even a little to help our friend so she makes itto those golden years we are all supposed to make it to, or at least enjoy them and help her continue the fight now.

And that woman is a fighter, she has taken all necessary measures to fight this nasty battle and come out on top

so friends and businesses in our community that can value a small business owner who kept it running for 30 years +

Lets help her make through because she can no longer work and that is a hard way to keep going so early in her life

She was diagnosed October 31st of 2024 and is fighting, let’s help the fight.
