Hello, my name is Deawna Williams. I am the older sister of William Carew Williams and the eldest sibling of the Williams family. It is with all the energy I have in me that I write this to share with you all.
My beloved brother, Carew, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Thursday Feb. 11th, 2016. He suffered a heart attack in his sleep the week prior. We fought for him, prayed for him, and brought as much positive energy to him while he was being tended to in the hospital. After fighting for his life in the hospital for 9 days, God decided it was my brother's time to go.
Not only was he an amazing and caring brother. He was a wonderful son who loved his parents dearly. He told Mom every day how much he loved her. And he always wanted to make Dad proud. He was also engaged to be a husband to a wonderful woman named Anjella. And he was already a fantastic father to their daughter Gianelle, who is 4. Carew was young and he had so much ahead of him. They had plans to move in together, soon. And they had already begun the wedding planning process. At age 27, you don't think that you'd need Life Insurance or some way to support you family if you were to pass. My brother wasn't covered and has little assets to leave behind.
Speaking on behalf of my family, as we prepare to lay Carew to his final rest, we ask if you could donate to help us bury our brother, son, fiance and friend. He will be buried at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, the same as our brother Max. And we plan on having a viewing service so that everyone who was dear to Carew, and who Carew was dear to, will have a chance to say good-bye. Any donations we receive will go to his funeral services. And anything above that will go to his young family - Anjella and Gianelle.
The pain that we feel everyday losing our brother is only compounded knowing we can't give him the burial he deserves. So with a grateful heart, I ask to please donate anything you can. Your generosity means so much to my family.
