Jessie is a wonderful person whose been stricken with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. After 1 surgery, 18 Chemotherapy treatments, 2 Cyberknife Treatments and a Chemo maintenance pill twice a day the cancer has metastasized.
Since 2014, these treatments have been destroying her immune system. There have been suggestions of Alternative Treatment which is not covered through her insurance. This Alternative Treatment is known to help build up the immune system. She would receive Vitamin Infusions, Coffee Enemas, Hyperbaric Oxygen and a Modified Diet to include daily juicing. It is in the experimental stages, but there has been success in previous cases.
Jessie would be required to travel and stay away from home. The cost is not affordable, which is why we are seeking help with her care and treatments.
A little bit about Jessie.
Jessie is a lifetime resident of the Salinas Valley; worked most of her career with Monterey County and at a local hospital. She has the biggest heart and is a people lover. Loves meeting her friends for lunch and movie dates; loves to visit the local coffee shop and chat with the regulars. Enjoys baking and making holiday rum cakes for her family and friends. An avid Hallmark and K-drama watcher whose a sucker for a great movie. She loved to go dancing, and now dances at home with her grandchildren to BTS.
Jessie loves to spend time with her family, watch them grow, and hear their thoughts. Jessie has raised two generations in her household and accommodated many family and friends passing through who needed help. Successfully raising her family, her adult daughter became disabled and she spent her days with her while holding a full-time job. The year her daughter passed, she was diagnosed with cancer. Despite all of this, Jessie loves life and has many things she wants to see and experience.
To everyone who has met Jessie, even just for a few minutes, is enraptured by her kindness and silliness. She has given unconditionally without expectations, but now she needs our help.
