Family Expenses

   On Wednesday July 28th, 2020 Gene Craig Uhlig passed away from complications of multiple myeloma. We had great hope that he would beat his cancer as he was responding well to treatment. We are all deeply saddened by his sudden death. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart of 39 years Donna, his daughters Lisa and Laura, and granddaughter Tabitha.

    Gene was an avid boater, and fisherman. He enjoyed these past times with family and friends. He was also a member of the Legion Riders Motorcycle Club, and frequently went on bike runs. He helped raise money for charity through many organizations he belonged to; VFW Post 6061, American Legion Post 5, Colonia Elks, and the Deutscher Club Of Clark.
   

     His world was his family, and spending time with them. He lived a life about loving and caring, going out if his way to help others. His outlook on life was always positive with a great sense of humor, and living every day to the fullest. His presence was always a comfort, and a great void will be left in his absence.

    As this is a devastating loss for our family, there are many bills and documents we still have to work through so we can get ahead of expenses. We are asking those who knew Gene to please help his family as they grieve. All funds will help pay for funeral costs, medical bills, and other final expenses. This would be greatly appreciated and help relieve extra worries. Thank you for all the love and support.
