My boyfriend, Ethan,  was in a horrible car accident about four years ago while living in Nebraska. Due to the circumstance of the accident, Ethan was never checked at the scene. Since the accident, it has been an extremely long and difficult road to get to the point where we have a diagnosis and approved surgery. He has been working full time for over four years on a torn labrum, which for most people is surgically repaired immediately following the injury. He is in so much pain every single day and the longer it goes on, the more damage it does to him in the long run. He is the strongest person I know but this has gone on so long and just seems like a never ending cycle for him. Now that we have finally gotten surgery scheduled, as of today we were told that we need to pay a down payment to the hospital which will be between $2000 and $3000 and we have to pay that in full by the date of surgery, March 11th. This is a huge sum of money for us to just pull out of nowhere on such short notice and we simply can’t do it on our own. Any help we can get is so incredibly appreciated.
