Samira was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) at the end of April. She had been tired and sick for months prior to finding out, and by the time doctors figured out the cause, she was stage 4. This is a horrible, aggressive cancer. There is no real cure, but she has been taking every available treatment to stop this Cancer from growing. Unfortunately, yesterday we got bad news that the tumors are still growing after 5 rounds of chemo.

Samira is now getting ready to start a clinical trial in a few weeks since chemo isn’t working. There are also a few possible surgeries she might qualify for in the future.

Contributions to this Gofund me will go directly to Samira and Mike to help with bills, household expenses, prescriptions, kids lunches, groceries, trips to and from all their appointments, and any other financial costs that might be stressing them out.
