In memory of Bill Hatch III
Donation protected
William "Bill" Hatch III was a family man, father, husband and local road construction worker for Hatch Western Co. He was married to his wonderful wife, Sharon, for 29 years. He was father to daughter Rosanna, and sons William and Michael.
Bill grew up in Bend, Oregon where he began his career in construction at the age of 17. He moved to Salem, Oregon where he met Sharon. They fell madly in love, that love stayed strong through their 29 years of marriage. After work he would drive straight home to spend time with his family making dinner, listening to his children play music, laughing and working on home projects. He enjoyed fixing up old cars, working around the house with his wife and sharing stories with family. He had a kind spirit and a relaxed demeanor. He was well respected and made a positive impression on anyone who came into his life. Bill will be greatly missed.
His family has said of him:
"Bill, you were a good husband and father. I knew you as a respectable, hard working man that valued your family above all else. I only wish I would have had the time to know you better. Rest in peace."
"Dad, you are the image of what every man should aspire to be. Everything I know about being a good father and husband, I learned from you. You have always been my hero, I will teach my children everything you have taught me and I will show my sons how much of an amazing man you are. I love you."
"Bill, you will always be remembered for putting family first (being Sharon's best friend)...a wonderful brother in law. I will miss you."
"Even though you are not "blood related," and I only knew you for 6 years, you were my grandpa. It was a huge shock to hear that you were hit by a drunk driver and died. I will love you and keep you in my memories forever."
"Bill, you are an amazing person, great brother, father, husband and friend. I will always remember all the good times we had growing up. As my older brother, you taught me so many things that one can only wish for...driving a manual transmission, riding a bike - just to name a few. You are truly going to be missed, and we know you are in a wonderful place now."

Any contributions are greatly appreciated and will go solely to Sharon A. Hatch to cover expenses incurred by the family due to this tragic event.
