Tree Memorial for Brittany Mello

After speaking with Britt’s family about the overwhelming response we received, they had a great idea to extend the goal to see if we could raise enough to put a bench in her name beside the tree as well. The cost of the bench is $2,730 + a $58 processing fee, making our new total goal $3,505 (+ 5 % GoFundMe fee).

In honour of Brittany Mello – loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and dear friend.
Brittany touched the lives of everyone around her, and will be missed by so many. We have started this fund to raise money for a memorial for her, to provide a place for her family and friends to visit and remember her.
The money raised will be used to plant a tree in honour of Brittany. Brittany loved the outdoors – she loved nature and she was so passionate about protecting the environment. She respected, loved and celebrated all life. We hope that planting a tree in her honour would bring a smile to her face.
The tree will be located in Pheasant Hollow Park at 201 Peter Rupert Drive in Vaughan [This is in the process of being confirmed].
The $717 is needed for:
$ 58 – Processing fee
$ 564 – Tree
$ 95 – Plaque
The plaque in front of the tree will read:

You will always be in our hearts
If the funds are raised in time, the tree will be planted in early spring. Any money left over will be donated to the Yellow Brick House in Brittany’s name.
