Standing Rock Winter Shelter

Arthur Infante and I are traveling to Standing Rock Sioux Rezervation in North Dakota to construct winter shelters for the Water Protectors there.  The Standing Rock Sioux and other protestors have vowed to fight Dakota Access Pipeline's unlawful, militarized, incursion onto their tribal lands and the threat to the Missouri River posed by Dakota Access Pipeline.  Protestors are committed to staying through the winter.  Temperatures there can reach -35 F.  

We will be driving trucks up there on Thanksgiving with the goal of completing the shelters in 2-3 days.  The shelters will be metal-roof garage-framed with straw-bale insulation.  

We are seeking $4000 in donations for the cost of construction materials.  Any leftover funds will be donated to the Standing Rock cause to protect the reservation, their sacred lands, and the Missouri River.

Please consider the importance of the clean water cause.   And in case you are unaware:  Donald Trump is keen to exploit the Dakota Access Pipeline.  He has invested over one million dollars in Energy Trade Partners (the company that operates the pipeline) and Phillips 66, which will own one quarter of the pipeline.  That's right, the corrupt billionaire president is already lining up deals to cash-in on his ill-gotten Presidency.
