Stephanie K. Farrell Family Fund
Donation protected
My name is Teresa, I'm writing on behalf of my friend, Stephanie Farrell who lives in Houston, Texas with two children - a daughter 16 and a son 14. They had been married for almost 20 years when her husband unexpectedly took his life in Stephanie's presence. She thanks God daily that her husband did not take her with him and her children were not home at the time. We all are so happy and thankful that Stephanie is still here to raise her children and guide them with a Christian heart and attitude. Unfortunately, the life insurance policy will not apply. Her husband was an attorney and had his own solo practice. He was a very caring and loving man who wanted and did help everyone, whenever he could. He loved his children more than anything in his world. Stephanie and her children are devestated. But, the focus going forward is to continue care for and support the children. Without the benefit of the insurance, they are going to struggle deeply.
As a result of this horrible experience, Stephanie has decided to initiate a program in her church to educate people about the red flags surrounding suicide and encourage them to get help. If we can affect one life, it's well worth it. Her family is so much pain at this time, but they are determined that this event will not define who they are.
I suggested this GoFundMe page to Stephanie and she gave me permission to write this on her behalf. It is our hope to raise enough funds to educate her children and keep from uprooting them from the home after this terrible tragedy that has already has affected them so deeply. Thank you in advance for your time in reading about them. If you aren't able to donate to Stephanie and the children, it is our wish that you would pray for the family. Prayer is so powerful and God is so good.
