Security deposit

Hey everyone! Jake and I got accepted into a very cute, significantly cheaper apartment and the security deposit is a bit high. We’ve saved up about half of what we need and we are able to place a holding fee, but we won’t have enough to move in by our move in date due to our current rent being so high. We have until October 15th to get what we can. Any help is greatly appreciated and will not go unnoticed. We have also applied for security deposit assistance from the state, but they have not looked at our application yet. Thank you so much!
