Setting up this GoFundMe account and posting this is something I would never do unless I desperately needed help, in this case, I do.
My bills are piling up due to my inability to work physically. I am waiting for hospital scheduling to call this week so that I can have heart surgery due to the LAD artery being blocked with calcium buildup.
They wanted to schedule me for open-heart bypass surgery originally, but the doctors came up with an alternative plan that won't be as invasive, and recovery time will be a lot less than opening my chest. This way, I will be able to go back to work in about 2 months.
(New procedure update: The procedure that they want to try first is called "Shockwave intravascular lithotripsy, with stent" (scary name) the doctor said it is like a jackhammer on steroids that should break up the calcified plaque in the artery, then they will have to put a stent in behind it so the artery won't collapse)
I also work alone because of the cost of employees. I am not the person who ever asks for help, but this time I have to. I feel bad for asking, but if I don't, I will lose everything I have ever worked for, including the great credit that I have built up over the years. Once you get behind on one bill, between the fees hammering you, it is next to impossible to get caught up.
I have never been late paying my bills, not even once, and hopefully, I won't have to be. I am always there to help other people in need including making food for people in need and even giving money, this time it is me who needs help, unfortunately. I have gone through my savings and am desperate.
