Della Curry has been terminated by Cherry Creek School District for giving a first grade student, who didn't have enough money, a free lunch.

This fund will help assist Ms. Curry in her grassroots efforts to bring change to the broken system.

My name is Rebecca and I live in Aurora, CO, in the same school district as Ms. Curry. While I have never met Della in person, the broken lunch system is something that frustrates me, and I hope this national coverage will help remedy the situation. Ms. Curry has indicated that none of these funds will be used by her, personally, but will put the money toward her goal to ensure no child is ever turned away from a well balanced lunch while at school. I will deliver the funds to Ms. Curry personally, or have them transferred directly to her.
