My name is Lorenzo and I have been part of my school’s (Latymer Upper) Uganda Project for the past three years. This October I have the exciting opportunity to travel to Uganda to meet some of the charities and to see first-hand the impact we have been able to make.
Our school supports several charities such as M Lisada, a youth center in Katwe; The Mummy Foundation, which supports girls, teenage mothers, and women; and Hidden Treasure Primary School, an educational center for children from the poorest communities. The project particularly focuses on M Lisada, an organisation dedicated to educating children in Uganda who are living on the streets or in difficult circumstances. MLISADA empowers young people by teaching them the value of music and dance, giving them both education and hope for the future.
I am fundraising to support these charities’ vital work and as part of that process I will be cycling 20 miles this Sunday (13/9/25)—pushing myself to go as fast as I can!
Any support you can give, big or small, will make a real difference and is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for helping me be part of this important cause.
