Hi my name is Amalia , I am raising funds for W Romeo Avila (tio)

Many of you may know that our beloved friend Romeo Avila, was diagnosed with prostate cancer about 4 months ago. That’s the bad news. The good news is that his treatment has been working thus far. He’s been receiving state of the art treatment, friendly and professional support at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California.

The overwhelming support he has been receiving from family, friends and our extended community has been amazing. In spite of having been unemployed all this time, thanks to generous monetary donations, in kind gifts or all the delicious meals and dishes delivered to his home, he has been able to focus 100% in his treatment. So thank you very much on his behalf.

Now that he has completed the first face of his treatment and has been advised to wait for a couple months before his next round of tests, he can spare some time to go visit his worrying parents in Guatemala. And since his nephew is an oncologist, be able to receive further evaluations and medical advise. So he needs our further help.
