Jeremy Windle Family Fund

Hello, thank you for being here. We are raising funds for the family of Jeremy Windle. His wife, Leona, is one of my dearest friends.

My name is Ashley, and since you’re here, allow me to tell you the story of how I met Jeremy.

Leona and I had been friends since I was a teenager, and we had many, many deep conversations about our desires to get married and have children. I remember the day she called me and said that she had a first date later that day and wanted me to come with her to get pedicures so she wouldn’t spend the morning worrying about the date. So we went and got pedicures. Next thing I know, I’m helping set up their engagement and then standing as maid-of-honor at their wedding.

I remember how Jeremy embraced, not only Leona, but her family, friends, and church. If ever I could say there was a man made for my friend, it was Jeremy. I saw him love her through hard, hard times and sweet, wonderful times. I often thought of his quiet, strong presence and knew it was exactly what Leona needed. His love for the Lord and his family is a perfect example of what a faithful, godly man looks like. My heart breaks for Leona and their 3 precious children (ages 10, 8, and 2; one special needs) as they grieve the loss of their beloved husband and father. Through all of this, we are ever grateful that Jeremy knew and followed Christ, and he is with Him now. We covet your prayers for the Windle family, as well as their extended families.

Since Jeremy was in the hospital for several weeks, there will be significant medical expenses, not to mention funeral and living expenses in the coming months. Thank you so much for your support.
