Hello family and friends!

On September 3rd, Dad (Mark) was diagnosed with liver cancer. On September 18th, his pet scan results came back that it was Stage 4 and had metastasized to both ribs and spine. Since then it has also spread to his right hip and arm. Causing severe pain, weakness and exhaustion.

With the fast rate of spread, Dad at first was opposed to treatment. Thankfully, he has since changed his mind and is willing to give Immunotherapy a try.

On October 16th, the day before his 67th Birthday, he was able to get the port for treatment installed. Yay!

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover the full cost to get treatment started, and his out of pocket cost is needed to get the ball rolling. The sooner he can pay his out of pocket cost, the sooner he can start the immunotherapy infusions.

Dad is staying as positive as he can, and has put it in God's hands. He still has a lot of love and laughter to spread in this life!
