Do you know how it feels to say goodbye suddenly and without warning to your loving spouse of 27 years? Well I do. It’s not an easy thing to hear when the doctor say that you need to go home and make funeral arrangements because she won’t be coming home anymore, and it will be lucky if she even survives the night. Those were the most devastating words I have ever heard in my life, my heart just shattered, I became lost, I couldn't breathe my whole life came crashing down around me all in those few seconds, but I had to carry on for our children and so I pulled myself together and did what I had to do. Lucky for us she did survive the night, and 5 days later she woke up. It was a miracle even according to the doctors and that was the second best day of my life, first being the day she said “Yes” Now a year later here she is fighting for her life again due to this same disease.

 My name is Robert and this is my wife, Tina, she is fighting stage four cancer and she is slowly losing this battle.
