She is a woman of perseverance! Tracy is a wonderful mother of 2, a proud grandmother of 4 & a true friend to many.

Going back to 2013 after completing 6 months of chemotherapy, double mastectomy & 5 years of tamoxifen, breast cancer has reared its ugly head again. Fast forward to April 8th 2024, Tracy was diagnosed for the second time with invasive ductal carcinoma, HR/PR positive, HER2 negative (Normally on a 2% chance of recurrence). Treatment consists of multiple biopsies, surgery to remove additional tumors & 3 months of chemotherapy with Taxotere & Cyclophosphamide (2 types of chemotherapy drugs) taken simultaneously during each appointment. This procedure is then followed by a shot of Pegfilgrastim (produces extra white blood cells) the following day. Unfortunately, the shot causes severe bone pain as well as spasms throughout Tracy’s spine. She also deals with nausea on a daily basis.

Although insurance has covered a large part of this journey, cancer has not stopped the medical bills from coming in. Due to multiple CT scans, ultrasounds prior to surgery, MRI’s, EKG’s & much more testing, the bills have accumulated with no end in sight.

It would be a tremendous help to relieve some financial burden that Tracy has to face alone. We appreciate everyones support, thoughts & prayers she has received throughout her years of battle and triumph!
