A message from my wife -

With profound sorrow we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my sister, Sushma, after one and half year year-long brave battle with Cancer that no one should ever have to face. She lived in Nagpur, MS, India. A loving mother, a very friendly person, Sushma leaves behind her 2 teenage children, both now facing an unimaginable future without her. She already lost her husband five years ago and was the sole provider for her children. She was working as a Junior College teacher and her job was yet to be made permanent due to which she was on a very low pay scale, not even enough to run her family's daily normal life and no health insurance.

Without any source of income or health insurance, she exhausted her savings on medical treatments and now her family is in dire need of financial assistance.

Over the past one and a half years, Sushma had been bedridden, necessitating frequent ambulance services for hospital visits and full-time assistance at home, which further added to her financial strain. She underwent two rounds of chemotherapy, frequent scans, almost daily lab-work and other treatments recommended by the doctors. In the last couple of months she underwent severe pain and multiple-organ failure.

We are reaching out to compassionate individuals to help raise $80,000 to cover loans for medical bills from her long and painful battle for treatments, labs, procedures etc., covering funeral arrangements and cover her children's living and educational needs.
