FRIENDS OF PETE
HOPE AND HEALING FOR PETE.
There are certain paths we are called to walk upon and certain battles we may be called to fight. In Pete Nash’s case, the
fight comes it the form of a rear liver
infection called Alpha-1 antitrypsin
deficiency. Almost 6 month ago his doctor gave him a year to live.
We’re not the ones going through this
but it could have been anyone of us.
We also do not know of the similarities between our future and what Pete is going through. Sometimes it seems like
Pete’s dealing with this situation and
we’re simply going through with our lives
I believe Pete biggest battle is
ensuring that he‘s able to maintain a level of hope. However, it’s upon us, his family,
friends, co-workers to come along side
him and show that we will not allow him
to face this without our support and
prayers. That we will hope with and for
him in him moments of weakness.
Due to the covid-19 Pete has had to
Minimize his interaction with his family
friends coworkers and members of the
public.
This platform serves as another avenue
in expressing our support since we are unable to be with him in person. Please make a financial donation in support of
Pete’s continuous care & recuperation
after surgery and keep on praying for
healing.
PETE’S FACEBOOK POST
To all my friends and family. I wish I didn’t have to write this but I know I have several friends that are asking about what’s going on with me. I will explain it the best I can. Unfortunately back in November my doctor gave me one year to live. I have what they call Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. It’s a really rare deficiency that’s attacking my liver causing it to fail. Now I am going to UCSF in hopes that I can get a liver transplant. They have one of the best transplant teams in the country. If anyone is interested in the outcome. I will try to post my progress.
