Darrel Riley : A Hero gone to soon

Donation protected
I am raising money to cover Darrel's funeral expenses. He is currently located in massachusetts and will be transported to connecticut for a wake and funeral. He  will then be transported back to Massachusetts to be laid to rest. The donations will support the cost of his transportation to and from massachusetts, his funeral and wake (in ct), his burial and his immediate family members hotel accommodations. Darrel's family is suffering tremendously and i hope to raise enough money to cover all the cost so that his family and friends can grieve without added financial stress. He leaves behind a beautiful family that includes his son. I'd like to share a little about My best friend Darrel. He had a heart of gold. He was an over achiever, anything he was passionate about, he was the best, ALWAYS. He liked everyone and everyone liked him.  He played football in highschool (#52). It was so much fun to watch him play, he was so fast, i swear the other team would give up even trying to catch him. He also joined the ROTC, that is when he considered joining the military after graduating.  He did, he  joined the marines. He served two tours in Iraq. He was critically injured serving his first tour. He was shot and hit by an explosive. He needed several blood transfusions. Doctors said it was a possibility that he wouldn't walk again and if he did, it would take years of physical therapy. He refused to accept that, he was walking again in less than 2 weeks. After recovering, the marine in him insisted on doing another tour. Although , he returned home safe. He did not return home the same. He suffered from many medical issues due to his battle wounds mentally, emotionally and physically. He was proud of being a marine and serving his country, Never once did he have any regrets. Darrel is the bravest and strongest man ever to enter my life. He fought for our country. He fought for his life. He fought many battles some would never imagine. Please, help me, help him lay to rest peacefully. Thankyou to everyone who has taken the time to read this and donate.
