We never imagined how quickly life could change. Our family has always done our best to stay strong, to work hard, and to take care of one another. But nothing could have prepared us for the challenges we now face raising our incredible 6-year-old son, Sawyer. Sawyer is the light of our lives — a bright, loving, and courageous little boy who faces each day with a strength that inspires everyone around him. Living with a disability means that even the simplest tasks can be difficult, and his journey requires constant care, specialized equipment, therapies, and medical support. Despite every effort to keep up, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Bills continue to grow, therapies are ongoing, and necessary accommodations for Sawyer’s comfort and safety at home are costly. We are looking to purchase a new home to make the modifications necessary to accommodate Sawyer’s needs. We’ve stretched ourselves as far as we can, but we can’t do this alone anymore.
