Precious the kitten

Precious was in the middle of I-95 and had stopped traffic when I found him. He had obviously been hit by a car and was hurt as his two back legs looked broken.  I drove him to the ER and was told that both his legs are severely broken and will need orthopedic surgery.  One of his paws may need to be amputated because everything is in tiny pieces.  He can’t breath on his own yet and is in an oxygen chamber.  He also has cuts on his belly and nose.  His lungs are also very bruised.

He was in so much shock that he wasn’t even crying.

Precious needs surgery which will cost $3,300. The hospital stay so far has cost $2,200, but have been told that it will be upward of $3,000.  

If Precious doesn’t get surgery, he will have to be put down.  And we don’t want that. The Vet has assured us that he will make it if he has the surgery,
