Hi my name is Lottie let me tell you my story. I am a French bulldog and I have lots of allergies which is quite typical for my breed and that’s ok cos my human family pay extra for special diet food for me and that’s manageable. 2 years ago I had an ulcerated eye that despite having daily treatment for it ruptured and I lost my eye, at the same time the vets tested my other eye and found that to have lesions on it which they treated immediately, however a month later I lost my other eye. I have no eyes but I can hear really good and love my walks and playing with my brothers and sisters.

My life has been pretty good up until last month when I started having small seizures, they didn’t last long and I was totally fine straight after but last week I had a small seizure and have been in lots of pain on and off since.

I have been to emergency vet 3 times this past week and despite the vets giving me lots of injections and tablets they don’t know what is wrong so today I’m heading to Uttoxeter for an mri scan. My scan is costing £3,500 plus there is my vet bill costs from last week and whatever ongoing treatment I may need x my mam doesn’t have insurance for me but before you judge let me explain why not … you see we run a small animal sanctuary we have 3 rescued pigs, a rescued goat, 5 French bulldogs 2 of which are rescued dogs and a rescued snake so as all money goes into their daily care and health issues spending money on insurance wasn’t an option.
