I’m Lauren, this fundraiser is to help Suraj and his family who are going through the worst possible situation in Gaza. This is Suraj’s story:

My name is Suraj, I’m 20 years old, and I’m from Gaza. I once dreamed of becoming a graphic designer and photographer. I imagined a future filled with creativity, purpose, and peace. But war shattered that dream. Our home, my ambitions, our memories - everything was reduced to rubble.

Recently, I faced the hardest moment of my life. My father, who had been critically injured in an airstrike, has passed away. He fought so hard, but we couldn’t get him the care he needed in time. Now, I am the only provider for my family of nine, including my youngest sibling who is just six years old. We’ve lost everything. Every day is a struggle to find food, shelter, and a reason to keep going. But I have to stay strong for my family.

Even in our darkest moments, I believe in the light that humanity can bring. This isn’t just my story - it’s the story of thousands of families like mine who need help to survive.
