In November of 2014, Debbie was met with a day that would change her life forever. She received a call that her house was on fire and her husband Bob, a Korean War veteran, was involved in an accident. She would learn in the coming days that Bob, who had a sudden undetermined onset of mental illness, had caused the explosion in their home. He survived the fire and the accident and was admitted to a facility where he could receive the care he needed. Debbie lost her home and the person she knew as her husband very quickly. Bob was indicted for aggravated arson, found innocent and the charges were dropped, yet their insurance company denied the claim on their home and it now sits destroyed. Debbie is left with no home, but a full mortgage, an apartment, and tens of thousands of dollars for the facility where her husband is being treated. We are seeking to help Debbie survive while she appeals the insurance company’s decision. If that does not work in her favor we would like to raise the money to rebuild her home. Will you please help Debbie and her family?
