Open Heart Surgery
Donation protected
Kyle has Marfan Syndrome which is a connective tissue disorder that affects the heart, among other things.
His heart has enlarged to the point that it’s time to repair it. He will have a valve sparing ascending aortic root replacement at Stanford University on June 15th. We will be down there for at least 10-12 days depending on how the surgery and healing end up going.
Costs involved will include a hotel room, rental car, flights, meals, and then out of pocket medical costs, including rehab when we get home.
I’m really bad at asking for help, but we can definitely use all the help we can get at this point.
Also, I’ll be using his CaringBridge site that we’ve used for his last two lung surgeries. I will keep it updated as much as I can.
Thank you so much!
