In 2014, I was diagnosed with myoleosarcoma. The tumor was removed from my upper abdomen along with my gallbladder. In 2015, I had a full abdomen CT-Scan and everything was fine. From 2016 to 2018, I had partial abdominal CT-Scan and there were no recurrence of the tumors.
I was feeling fine until fall of 2019. I felt bloated, constipated, unable to release gas properly. I had a full abdominal CT-Scan that showed a large mass that's inseparable with the rectum in the pelvic area.
In January of 2020, a biopsy was done. The result was a different type of cancer: Stage three ovarian cancer. I had a surgery in February of this year to have my hysterectomy and mass removed. But, the surgeon didn't proceed with the surgery because he couldn't remove any mass that was attached and spread into my intestines and it would be too dangerous.
I underwent four chemotherapy treatments to shrink the mass. Now, I'm set to have another surgery to have my hysterectomy removed. I'm supposed to have another three set of chemotherapy treatments after the surgery. I haven't been able to work since my first surgery. Then, I needed chemotherapy treatments to shrink the tumors in my stomach. I couldn't work due to my illness; part of my job duties are to be able to lift up to 70lbs at the post office, stand for long period of time.
I'm praying for the best outcome. Thank you and may God bless you!
