Emerson Summer Writing Program

This year, my teacher recommended I try to go to a summer writing program based on my interest and talent with writing.  I applied to a couple different programs; Georgetown University, Education Unlimited, and Emerson College. I was accepted into all the programs.   Some had more rigorous application processes than others. I chose to pursue the Emerson program because it was the most difficult to apply to and had the most classes that interested me.  It also will provide me with a new experience.  In this program, I will be attending Emerson College in the heart of Boston and I've yet to spend much time on the east coast.  It is a month long course from July 8th- August 8th. I will be taking various courses, from basic writing to creating a graphic novel, to magazine writing. I look forward to living in the college dorms and taking college style courses 9-5 Monday-Friday. Of course, the program is not cheap but I feel the learning and living experience will be worth it.  I couldn't turn down this unique opportunity.  I would appreciate any help towards the cost of this immersive program.  Thank you for your support!
