Hi everyone, I am starting a fundraiser for my son, Devon Tarantino. He has been dealing with complications from his brain surgery that took place in December 2022. The patch didn’t hold and he has a 3mm hole causing fluid to leak. As a result, a giant pseudomeningocele has formed which causes severe pain, headaches, numbness and tingling, facial droop, dizziness, and several other symptoms that do not allow Devon to live a fully functioning life. The neurosurgeon needs to reopen the area to evacuate the fluid and put in piece of mesh to further hold part of his brain in place. Then, he will attempt to repatch the area, while also using a muscle flap for added strength. The funds will be allocated to go to his ongoing medical bills and the out-of-pocket expenses for this current surgery. I will be flying out to him to help in his recovery so the funds would also help with flight costs. Devon, the entire family, and I are extremely grateful for all past support and appreciate any generosity to ease, yet again, a very difficult time. Surgery will take place March 19, 2024. Please keep Devon in your prayers for an uneventful journey over the next few months as he undergoes brain surgery for a second time and embraces the recovery process with strength and determination to return to his normal function.
