We are sad to announce that Scotty & Vyktoria were involved in a devastating and heartbreaking accident on June 30.
They were in Lethbridge visiting Vyktoria's amazing family, that we were blessed to meet today, although wishing its was under better circumstances.
Vyktoria was out for a short drive out with 2 of her cousins last Sunday evening.
Unfortunatly, the vehicle rolled on the gravel road just a couple miles away from their cousins house and 1 of the kids of 11 years old; a beautiful little girl named Abby was killed in the accident. The 2 year old little boy is doing well.
Although, Vyktoria was thrown from the vehicle and is dealing with some serious fractures of her pelvis and sacrum. Vyktoria is also 10 weeks pregnant with she and Scotty's first child. The doctors want to do surgery on her pelvis, but due to being pregnant and the safety of the baby she will have to stay on straight bed rest and physiotherapy to heal physically.
She and Scotty are so blessed to have all her family and Scottys family's support through such a tough and challenging time, but they will definitely be facing some more challenges ahead as she needs to stay in hospital for an uncertain duration depending on how the healing process goes.
So far she's been in hospital for 5 days and the forecast as of now is that she may be in Lethbridge hospital for 3 more weeks possibly before she will be stable enough to move home to Grande Prairie.
These 2 mean the world to us and a lot of others.
I would kindly like to ask that if any of you can support her and Scotty right now it may take some stress off a little from all they have to deal with already aside.
If you'd like to help fund them to help with their stay in hotel and hospital, and other costs they are facing with this tragedy I know that it would lighten the load a little.
