Help me get my laptop from repair before school.

HI , my name is Stephen and I am trying to raise 450 dollar pay for the repair of my Macbook Air that I purchased for my upcoming Resident Manager course. One night just recently, I was visiting a friend who was having a small gathering at his place and i had my laptop in my bag. After dinner I pulled out the laptop to show my friend what I purchased to use for school in August. After sharing, I got up and went to the washroom and upon my return noticed someone unknowingly spilled a watering can full of water and fertilizer all over my laptop. (STILL DON'T KNOW WHY THERE WAS EVEN A WATERING CAN FULL IN THE ROOM) and noone had even noticed. Needless to say I panicked and quickly tried to dry it off but the screen was flickering and I just knew there was no saving it. It was also plugged in which just made it worse. When I bought the laptop back in February I also bought apple care plus plan which is basically extended coverage for your product in the event of accidental damage such as a water spill.
This was very much relief but at the same time the repair cost for this type of extensive damage isn't cheap.
I took it into the apple store at Eaton Centre on June 21st they looked it over and tested it. Diagnosis was it was fried and needed ALL parts replaced. Total cost: 428 and change. Expensive repair but cheaper than buying a new one.
So long story shortened a bit, I start a school to become certified in Property Management as a live in Resident manager which is my previous career for 6.5 years. I lost my job back in 2022 and have been looking for a similar role over the past 1.5. While I've had 4 interviews, the outcome is always the same, they feel i have ample hands on experience but lack the technical training. I learned a ton about building systems and managing them but if , for example, there was a boiler broken in the middle of winter i would likely struggle to repair myself which is ok except if the repair ended up being an easy fix and i still had to contact the repair company, it would be a expensive and unnecessary expense that the owners would not be very happy about. So once I have some technical training I'll feel much more confident going into an interview and have the hiring team all me a systems related question, being able to answer the question without pause.
Confidence really is everything!.
Having mentioned all of this i need my laptop before school begins next month. Apple advised that I pick it up ASAP but I do not have the funds to do so. I do work odd cash jobs and the money isn't bad but it's been slow and not much I can do right now. So this is where you guys come in! I'm asking for anyone that reads this and is in the position to contribute, please do so. Every bit helps. Once I have raised this money and pick up my laptop, I will post proof I've done this on my go fund me page. I will also put some extra time in to volunteering for a organization in need of help which i will also post. I'm already part of the Toronto people with AIDS foundation aka PWA and participating in the Bike Rally fundraising ride to Montreal on August 3rd to 8th.
Thank you to all who have taken the time to read my story and in advance to those who choose to help me get my computer back.
Warmest Regards,
Stephen McComb.
PS the attached photos are of some of the work I've done recently doing businesses patios and entrances.
