Rallying for Ruby
This is Ruby Leaity, she was my niece. Ruby took her own life on 23 July last year at the age of 23. Those who knew Ruby will remember how generous, kind, clever, beautiful and hysterically funny she was. Despite struggling with her mental health for many years, she was a support and inspiration to so many people. She truly was the best of her family. Her sisters, her nieces, her partner Jess, all of her extended family and friends miss her terribly.
I am driving this classic Triumph car from Lands End to John O'Groats between 4th and 7th December 2021 as part of the Le Jog trial for classic and vintage cars. Along the way I am going to raise money for Solent Mind in memory of Ruby. The journey is around 1300miles and will be completed on minor roads driving day and night over four days and three nights. My co-driver will be experienced navigator Rolf Pellini with whom I completed this event in 2019. Sponsor me on my journey and raise money for Ruby's favourite charity in her memory.
