This is our Mom, Stacey.
For those that know her, you know Stacey hates to ask for help, which is why we're reaching out on her behalf. On October 7th 2024 she was diagnosed with left adrenal cortical neoplasm and a mass in her brain which was 5.6cm and has now shrunk. She spent 2 weeks in the ICU where she was unconscious and unable to speak or advocate for herself, the following months were full of many unforeseen challenges including our mom just not being herself.
For the past four months she has undergone chemotherapy every other week in patient at the hospital, where she has stayed for a minimum of 7 days each visit. Once the brain tumor has been addressed the doctors can move on to the tumor on her adrenal gland. Then she will likely have to undergo a bone marrow transplant from a donor.
As you can imagine this has taken a huge physical and mental toll on our mom. She hasn't been able to work since early October. We are all overwhelmed and we know that the road to recovery hasn't even started yet.
We’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial strain and allow our Mom to focus on what truly matters: her health and recovery. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards: immediate medical treatment and ongoing care and the daily necessities like finding a good wig
(to go with her big personality).
As our Mom said just this morning, "cancer sucks." Your generosity will not only provide vital financial support but also offer our family the strength and encouragement to keep fighting. Every donation is a reminder that we are not alone in this journey.
Even if you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign and spreading the word would mean the world to us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
