I have cancer but there is hope!

My name is David Siegel, and earlier this year I was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. While the news itself was initially devastating, I am doing my best to be strong for my wife Laurie, who I've been lucky to have by my side for 42 years of marriage. Together, we've raised two children Bradley and Bryan, and love our dog Addison. But now, while I've spent some of my career building homes for others, I'm trying my best to provide for Laurie. But, while our bills are mounting, the chemo has sapped my ability to work, and my body is failing. And now, I feel I have no other choice.
I will be traveling from Florida to Duke University to meet with a pancreatic surgeon. I can start the Duke program at the end of august. Any help you can give might help literally save my life
Thank you in advance for anything you can do. Your generosity is a blessing to me and Laurie, not only in tangible terms but spiritually as well, as it reminds us of the spirit of good that remains in the world today.
