- To our friends and family, my brother, Kim Steen, at the age of 69 has suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on April 24. After surgery, multiple CT scans and MRI, we have been told he has been having multiple strokes since the initial one and it's possible he could continue to have more. He has not responded to any outside stimuli. So, today, May 3, his wife, Nancy, the family and myself have made the difficult decision to take him off life support.
Kim is a very generous person who was always willing to help others. He loved his two babies, Bella and Emma, who left this world last fall. They were miniature Dachsunds. He has always loved life to the max. His wife, Nancy, is the love of his life. Together they raised Nancy's three children, Jamie, Corey and Angela whom he loved very much.
Kim was an organizer and loved to get people together for different celebrations. He was a collector of WWII memorabilia as well as a history buff on WWII. Our father served in WWII. Kim enjoyed watching movies, gardening and listening to music.
At this point in time Nancy needs some help as there is no life insurance. Your donation, no matter how small will help cover some of the medical and funeral expenses, allowing Nancy to focus on healing rather than financial stress during this devastating time.
