Dad spent his final days at the Princess Alice Hospice and often spoke about how "lucky" he felt to be there.

He would describe it as a five-star hotel and was amazed that such care was available free of charge. The kindness, compassion and warmth shown by everyone at the hospice meant so much to him, and to all of us who were fortunate enough to spend time with him there.
