Butter's Emergency Surgery
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family and Animal Lovers,
Meet Butter! A 70 pound one-year-old Great Pyrenees who was once relinquished to a kill shelter in Northern Utah, then found her way to a loving household whilst she found her way into all sorts of trouble. Butter has a firecracker personality with enough heart to light up a room, she seems to be on a never-ending quest of being the center of attention.
Unfortunately, due to a complete fracture of her right femur I was given 3 options. Put her down, amputate the leg or send her into emergency surgery. Wanting what is best for the livelihood of Butter I chose to put her in surgery, where a full recovery would be made. However, as a 22 year old student veteran, I am placed in a rough position monetarily.
I am currently writing this from the veterinary hospital while she is in surgery, still trying to cope with the idea of around 5000 - 5700 in Vet bills. She's been an incredible addition to my life and the lives of those around her. Any generosity will go directly to the payment of her surgery and treatment after.
Much love from Butter and I,
Ben Hossack.
