Danise Cameron was a 39-year-old mother of four: Alexi (16), Ella (14), Jamal (5) and Elissa (4).
Whilst on holiday with her husband's family this year, she passed away from a freak illness. During her brief stay, she became sick and her health rapidly deteriorated, resulting in her eventual death on the 17th of July. Currently, she is still in Iraq and we want to bring her back to the UK for her funeral.
I, Alexi, am the oldest of her children and to say she was special to me would be a massive understatement. She was my best friend and was there for me whenever I needed support and now, I want to be there for her.
She was cherished and loved by every member of her family, quite literally being the glue that held us all together. She had a heart of gold and always put others before herself and she deserves to be surrounded by the people who loved and still love her.
Unfortunately, this process is costly and we currently lack the funding needed to bring her home. We would greatly appreciate any support that could be offered, no matter how small.
Any money we receive will be passed to her sister and used to fund her return as soon as possible.
Please help us make sure she is returned to her family and buried at home.
