My amazing husband, Martin, had a stroke on January 9th of this year, and through his strength and determination, he is working hard to get back to 100%.

As you know, recovering from a stroke will take some time, and his therapists and doctor have given him until early April before he can return to work. Unfortunately, his work salary and benefits will end next week. With humble hearts, we ask for help from anyone who has it in their heart. Please know this was a hard thing for our family to ask, but we truly, truly appreciate you all.

Our hearts are filled with so much appreciation for you all!! We set a really conservative goal compared to the actual anticipated lost pay, medical bills, and rehab costs. After hitting in less than 24hours, we were encouraged by close friends to raise it.
