Grandma’s fight with cancer

Hi my name is Dominik. I love my grandma very much. She is the best grandma in the world. She helped me to learn to speak Slovak and takes care of me when my mom is at work and showed me how to build LEGO. She makes good food she is always there to talk to and to listen. We love to craft together and I am creative just like her.
We just found out she has cancer. I know what that is and I am really scared because we knew other people that had cancer and some are not here anymore. I don’t want to lose my grandma and I know she will need help with money I wanted to start a lemonade stand and my mom said that was a great idea but winter is coming and she said maybe I could start a fundraiser for grandma. I wanted to give my grandma my piggy bank I have more than one but she said I need to keep it for me and that I am too young too worry so much. I know that things are scary in the world right now but I really need to help my grandma.

Hi my name is Miriam. It is with a heavy heart I have to come to terms with my diagnosis of breast cancer that I received just recently. I have a hard time sharing my personal struggles and asking for help but now is no time for pride.
I have been trying to rebuild my life after a tough divorce and the last few years have not been easy and the stress has taken a toll on my body. I haven’t been feeling well and now I have found out why. In addition to surgery, a possible mastectomy and radiation I have also been researching other integrative and supplemental cancer clinics but these are not covered under health care and come at a price.
With the world in chaos in the middle of a pandemic many, including myself, are suffering financially. Every little bit including prayers and sharing my story will help.
