Hello,

Last year, our mom Krista was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Our mom has always been such a selfless, hard-working, and stubbornly independent person, so you can imagine how hard it’s been since hearing this news, and how much harder it is to come here asking for your help on her behalf.

Since the diagnosis, our mom has had to stop working at her dream job and treatment has been ongoing. On top of the stress of treatment, as time goes on, it has gotten harder and harder to ignore the looming medical bills. Between the chemo, radiation, targeted therapy infusions, and double mastectomy, each visit to the doctor is becoming more about the weight of how much it costs rather than recovery itself.

Any donations given will go directly towards our mom’s medical bills to help ease the burden. We want to be able to reduce her stress in any way possible and we need your help to do so. My sister and I are currently in college, and as much as we want to help financially, our family is spread too thin to contribute much.

We understand that not everyone can donate, but if you can’t help that way, please share our story and help us help her. Our mom is our best friend and even if we can’t directly support her financially, we can do this for her. We know she hates the idea of leaning on others, but we hate the idea of seeing her struggle even more.
