Help support hate crime victims

Hi folks I saw this in my parking lot today and the owner of the vehicle turned  out to be my neighbor who came out to talk with me.  He's a very laid back man with small children that doesn't have beef with anyone. This was clearly a hate crime and the police have been notified.  Aside from the bashed window, rear view mirror, and interior damage,  the contents from the  glove compartment and vehicle were also stolen. 

He informed me his last paycheck went to getting this car up and running and that things are very tight right now as they just had a new baby. He will need to come out of pocket to fix this.

The look of defeat on his face is indescribable.  This family has been nothing but kind to my daughter who is frequently bullied and made fun of on the playground and out in the community due to her physical and intellectual disabilities resulting from Cerebral Palsy.

I'm taking up donations and gift cards for the family hoping to get their vehicle street legal asap and to remind them that there are still decent people out there despite the scum that would do this type of thing.  Please help share in facebook and various social networking sites.
