Please help me help Peaches. This is an extremely difficult post to write and I’m ashamed to have to even ask for any help.

Most of my close friends and family already know the journey I have been on already with Peaches since a kitten. She has suffered with this unknown skin/eye issue for the last 11 months, she has been in and out of a cone for the majority of the time and is really suffering. My local vets have been unable to yet diagnosis. I have been back and forward to the vets every couple of months paying consult fees and for multiple antibiotics each time and trialling every course/cream/ointment under the sun. She’s been sent to an eye specialist and dermatologist and we have even tried home remedies. Although the antibiotics work a little to help soothe her eye/skin, it only simply returns twice as bad once the course has finished. My credit card is maxed out with vet bills. I’m drowning in the debt from the added interest.

The vets have now advised that she needs a skin Biopsy and Fresh Tissue culture £897.77. This will determine what is causing this so we can give her the correct course of treatment.

They said without this treatment they cannot get to the root cause and think it’s unfair and now pointless to keep giving her antibiotics that clearly aren’t working. They have said if I cannot come up with the funds for this then I may be faced with a more difficult decision which I cannot bear to think about She is my baby and my rock and all I want is for her to be better.

So as a last resort I’m asking you with a heavy heart for help. Please help me raise funds to go towards this. I'm doing everything I can to give her the best chance at recovery, but it’s just not enough so I need all the help I can get . Any contribution, big or small, will go directly towards Peaches care and help bring my silly, happy, loving cat back to a normal life!
