Hi, I'm Steph and my wife Amy and I rescued Frankie when he was just 9 months old. He was skin and bones, had never been on a walk, and had been physically attacked by another dog in his previous home. He was terrified of everything — it was absolutely heartbreaking, and there was no way we could leave him behind even though we could foresee many issues ahead of us.

With lots of love, patience, and care, we slowly nursed Frankie back to health. Along the way, we discovered he suffers from severe allergies, requiring monthly injections. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s grown into the happiest little boy who loves to play, run, and is still learning how to socialise and trust the world around him.

Tragically, while out on a walk this Sunday, Frankie broke his elbow. He is undergoing surgery today, and while the surgeons are doing everything they can to save his leg, there is a chance it may not be possible depending on his recovery.

His current vet bills have already reached £5,500, and insurance will only cover £2,000. On top of this, Frankie will need ongoing physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and continued medical treatment.

We are asking for any help you can give to support Frankie through this incredibly difficult time. Right now, we simply don’t know how we will manage the costs of his care, but we are determined to give him the life he deserves.
