Help Shane Beat Cancer!
Donation protected
About a month ago my "little" brother Shane woke up and couldn't move the right side of his body. At the hospital in Florida they told him he had an inoperable brain tumor. The surgeons were afraid to touch it and suggested Roswell Cancer Institute. As soon as he was able, Shane up and left Florida; his job, his home, his life there. What we've since found out from Roswell is that his cancer was caught so early that he isn't going to need surgery. They will do chemo treatments to remove his stage 1, low grade glioma. This is a completely different diagnosis than he received in Florida, and we are incredibly thankful for that! However, Shane is in need of assistance. He left everything in Florida so that he could get the best care possible. This road he is on is far from over. If you can help by donating it would be greatly appreciated. Roswell is a 2 hour drive from where Shane is staying, and he's going to be up there a lot. He doesn't have a job and won't be able to get one until the tumor shrinks; physical activity makes it swell and he risks paralysis and speech deficits. He has an amazing support system, but he needs the means to get through the day-to-day expenses, as well as to get to his appointments at Roswell.
