My best friend and roommate Jim Purdie needs your help. He was in ICU for about 4 weeks, he got double pneumonia, they had to intubate him by inserting an intubation tube into his trachea.
Then they put him on a mechanical ventilator. He was on ventilator for 3 1/2 weeks.
He is diagnosed with threatening heartbeat problems called ventricular arrhythmias.
Right now he is home. He cant walk with out walker but can now get out of bed.
He has already spent over $2,000 on his hospital bed, wheelchair and other medical equipment that was not covered by his insurance.
Jim and I have been working on homes, Jim does a lot of title work. We get paid cash under the table and because of that we don't qualify for unemployment benefits or disability benefits.
Right now Jim needs a new CPAP machine for $1300 and a few other things.
Jim needs to get into a rehab center as an inpatient working with physical therapy, but every time I find a place his insurance company says no..I’ll be working non stop until I get him into PT.
Please do what you can, he is in bad shape. He is very depressed, just looks at ceiling. With everything going on with him he is worried about me..
Every time I went to ICU to visit him he would always squeeze my finger when I asked him, while he was in a medically induced coma.

OH YA just to let you all know he stopped smoking... I told him I'll kick his ass if he even thinks about it.
