Medical and Personal Help

Hi, My name is Susan Luce. I am raising money to help my son Carl Swartz out with his medical and personal expenses.

On Monday January 29, 2024 he was taken to Nassau Baptist. It was discovered he had aortic dissection. He was flown to Shands and had emergency surgery that evening. The doctor told us it was a miracle he survived because this issue is usually what they call a "widow maker".

A lifelong friend and his wife own H&S Shrimp company and he is donating profits from his shrimp sales this week to start donations.

We have had so many people from out of town ask for us to do this, we decided it was a good idea.

Carl has a long road to recovery. It has been 1 week today. He is still in CVICU and still on oxygen.

He was supposed to start a job this week. He is Vice President for Yulee Athletic Association, a football coach for them as well as 8 v 8 Premier Spring League and Yulee Middle School.

We want to cover his personal expenses, new medications and medical bills.
