In the past 12 months, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Stichting Volunteers with no limits (Amsterdam) has been actively collecting and sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine and providing help to temporarily displaced Ukrainians in the Netherlands.
We have provided over 50T and spent over 80.000€ on humanitarian aid. Thanks to our permanent partners, this help was distributed in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv and many other places including the frontline.
In the Netherlands, we have helped more than 2000 families in our center, where people could get food, clothes, and household items. At the beginning of the war, volunteers at the central station in Amsterdam sent people to our center on Bloemgracht 96 right after arriving.
We are incredibly grateful to all our supporters! Their generosity is truly appreciated, and we cannot thank them enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
People in Ukraine still need our support, and we are currently facing a shortage of resources that is limiting our ability to provide the level of assistance we would like to offer. Our main goal is to provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainians in need, regardless of gender, occupation, and age.
We use money to buy medicine, which is constantly needed in hospitals, the field, and rescue work. We buy antiseptics, painkillers for adults/kids, omeprazole, wound dressings, bandages, sterile gauze, plasters, first-aid kits, medical consumables, and tourniquets. We also buy thermal clothes, rain coats, generators and all the things which are needed the most. Buying things in Ukraine helps the Ukrainian economy, saves money and time on delivery. And at the times of war, time is crucial.
